has anyone ever had this problem and how did you resolve this issue.......
Few weeks ago check engine light came on and the went away.....didnt think much about it since it went away......however it came back on and it come on for a few days and then goes away...........put my obd2 tool on and gives me error code P0121........thanks for the help

its a pending code - non emission - as emission are exec codes and do not go away, 121 points to throttle position encoder - usually a wire pot - maybe getting a dead spot so it flags the computer (laymans term - like that old boom box with a scratchy volume pot, still works but scratchy except the computer does not like it). It will dissapear (light go off) if it is not repeated in so many starts. Sooner or later it will stay on all the time and you will have to replace it.

thanks for the info.......replaced the throttle position sensor yesterday as the part is on national backorder from gm and they dont sell just the sensor. Now it idles a bit high but levels out is this normal?????
