what are spare modules? And how do we change them?
JennaBear
07-05-2009, 09:39 PM
The modules are the PCM or ECM/TCM. They are a quick 5 min install/swap with your stockers.

so I could have multiple tunes?
one for performance
one for gas mileage/road trips
one for performance with F/I (set aside for when I get SC)
?
JennaBear

Theoretically yes, however, each tune is made with all of the above taken into account. We offer free retunes, so when you are ready for a blower, you can send the PCM back to us for the proper changes.

Jenna, since I already have a tune and retunes are free, after I get my intake and exhaust done could I drop by this tuning session and have Justin make some tweaks for me? Or are these events restricted solely for people who haven't had a tune yet?
JennaBear
07-07-2009, 06:39 PM
Not a problem, you just need to shoot Justin an email to sort out a time for you to swing by.

07-07-2009, 07:17 PM
Awesome, I'll do that. I'm also going to see if I can iron out that god-forsaken intake leak. The only thing I haven't replaced yet is the TB gasket, but the damn thing was brand new a month before the tune so I don't know if that's it or not. I'll buy another one and swap the gasket out before the tuning session and see if that did it.

I will try and get back to the springs for those dates just to show up. I already have the tune and dont have the money for any upgrades right now. Might have him turn on my efan pins if they arent already
JennaBear

Your tune should be set up for the efans already, but you are welcome to swing by either way!

We should all meet up down there on Friday and hang out for a bit...
Max, I think this whole thing is gonna hinge on you rounding people up, unless I get the 6.0 in there and need a whole new tune for it. I don't see that happening but who knows.
I can get a few, holler at anyone you know with a chevy they can all benefit from a tune.

We haven't figured out a place yet, but locations with large parking lots, like malls, WalMart, Bass Pro Shops are the best ones we have had them at.

There is a Wal-Mart that has a huge parking lot off I25 and Academy exit. I'd be interested in getting my new 07 Tahoe tuned.
Do you tune the 07+ yet?

Where are we at on deposits Jenna? I'll see if I can convince the FIL to bring down the new Silverado and his old suburban...but thats all I got, and I can't see him doing the Silvy since he's so in love with his goddamn Edge tuner. He might do the Suburban though, it's so old and beat up that he's thinking about modding it since it's paid off. So that might work. I'll see if he'd be interested.

Not yet, any suggestions for a location with a large parking lot, minimal traffic, and easy highway access?

Theres a walmart at the N. end of North Academy. Probably 2 minutes off of I25. Theres also an expo center there and if they aren't doing anything they would have a huge empty parking lot open.
JennaBear
09-07-2009, 08:59 PM
Ok, I will check into both of those locations....
You want a deposit for my buddys 5.7 tahoe? Do I need to reserve a time for my truck as well?

That WalMart sounds perfect.

That WalMart was my suggestion a few posts ago. PLEASE PM me the earliest you can do my tune since I'll have to jet to my brother's bachelor party in Denver right after we're done tuning. I may also have my son with me during our tuning sessions but he'll be fine.
