Interior Lights

Hey all,
My folks have a 2008 GMC Yukon SLT. We are having problems with the Interior Lights. When you open up the front passengers side door, none of the interior lights turn on. When you open up any of the other doors, the interior lights come on. Does anyone know what could cause this?

Check the door switch

I know this might sound stupid, but where is it located? I am use to the older vehicles where the door jam switch is located on the pillar, but I don't see anything. Thanks

Look under the air vent on the left side of the steering wheel. There is a knob next to the fog and dome switches.
