Riding 23's?

Hey was looking a 96 clean yukon wit 23's lol.... just wondering how these things ride... the guy told me bc its 4x4 the wheels stick out a lil which they do... and it sways a little bit due to the size of the rims.. just wondering if anybody has any advice or opions if they ride good or not

The wheels could also stick out because of the width and offset of the wheel. As for the sway...wheel size will not make the truck sway. It will make it harder to brake and so forth. 20" plus rims create A LOT of rolling mass.

I only have a 17" rim but 35" tires...no sway here.

yea thats tru... they guy could just be avoiding the truth an telling me it needs an alighnment lol... its a clean green 96 yukon wit 23's and 3 new tires just need to get one more... and it ok interior needs a cleaning remote start runs good 129k wit hid headlights.. only 3200 the guys willing to do!! lol the rims are worth about $2500 alone lol

go for it then. Alignment or a few other goodies like tie rods and such will still be worth putting on a nice truck

Don't be blinded by the rims...if anything post a pic of this hoe.

Rims can be had cheap these days...cheap chinese knock offs that pit and peel.

Remember those rims are USELESS IF THE HOE DOESN'T MOVE!

tru............. check it out pretty clean especially underneth.... no rust and runs clean.. dident test drive it bc the guy was at the dealer ship lookin at other cars.. i gotta call him back wen i have the money hopefully next week and im gonna test drive it an have my friend whos a mechanic check it out as well heres the ad

i had 24s on my last hoe, had no problems well except for the fact the whole truck was stolen and burned but thats besides the point, the rim size shouldn't make it sway, looks like a clean truck i dont kno why he only wants 4400 for it and y he would drop 3200... idk check it out mite be worth it!!

ouch! that sucks.... yea the guy wants 4 wit the system and 3200 wit out it! so who knows if things work out i looked at it on monday im gonna call him sunday if everything goes to plan and may have a yukon on 23's... to fix that sway its prob needs an alignment
