Any one know the part # for a amber DRL cross reference?

Yes replace the white bulbs with amber for the DRL's they look bad. Did it on my '02 Tahoe but the '08's are different. Corvettes and i think some pontiacs had stock amber day time lights, didnt know if someone has made this mod and new the part #

i changed mines to led buibs now they match my HID color wise during the day havent seen anyone with this mod yet lol YESsss

I have purple LEDs but its easy to do, pull the headlight and put in an amber bulb!
I have had blue, white, amber and red in the DRLs, finally settled at purple as I like it the best!

Got any pictures? Wouldn't mind to do this to my Tahoe. Where did you get your LED's from and what size bulb will I need?

i got my LED's from my boy he runs a shop the name of the company i think is "MAX" led mini high performance lamp (thats what the front says) there's also some japanese writing and the bulb i think is "3157"

Bulb size is 3157, Nfamous is correct. I plan on buying some LED's but I dunno where to find them locally.

If you check Amazon there are a bazillion different options ranging from $9 a pair on up. I'm kinda wary about just ordering a pair since I assume there are different wattages that are available. Any suggestions???

I just got a pair of red LEDs for my DRLs..in the day time, they arent that great..they dont glow like I'd thought...at night, its SO bright red, cops would see me from 6 miles away lol...so I took them out..I also put Amber bulbs in it...but eventually put stock bulbs back in since I didnt like the DRLs blending in with the ugly orange corners..I guess even in your newer truck, it would blend in...I dont see a reason to blend what was once a driving light..into another section of your blinker..IMO
