07+ Yukon Denali intake

Quick question about grabbing an aftermarket intake for my denali, probably a volant kit. I have numerous people telling me that "the factory intake is the best its going to get" and "its a waste of money, the performace/fuel saving gains are minimal at best" anyone have any experience with this? I put a Volant on my 2003 Denali and loved it, the sound, performance gains, and even a little better gas mileage, but im not sure if the 6.2 motor will be the same, and if it is, anyone have any performance numbers? Thanks guys!

they're telling you correctly.
If you did get a performance gain it would be far too small to warrant the cost.
Do it for the right reasons: Cool sound, cool looks.
