Leveling of Tahoe Question

I have posted this before that I am unhappy with the lean of my truck. it is considerably higher in the back than it is in the front. Most of the guys on here replied back that all of the LTZ's are like that. The question I have though is I see other LTZ's that don't appear to be as angled as mine.

So last night my best friend was over who has a 2010 ltz and I took a tape measure from the ground to the bottom of the fenders on both of our trucks. His naturally appears more level than mine and I wanted to measure to verify.

My truck from ground to bottom of rear fender measured just over 38", His was 36-1/8". My front was also over an 1.5" lower than his confirming that my truck appears to have much more of a back to front lean.

Does anyone have an answer to why this is, and also is there a fix?

mike i would just get the rear drop spring set up and will lower it right down. You can also adjust the autoride links in rear to bring it down a little.

what does the front measure from ground to fenderlip on your truck?

My '10 burb is a little over 36" front and 38.5" rear. Its a hideous gap! Its and LT with the polished factory 20's non autoride.

How and will this work on a 2006 Yukon XL? looking to level rear by 3"

yes to install the rear springs/shock extenders at MAX will take 45 minutes.

What about lowering the front? DIY?

its not that hard but does take more time. If you worked on suspension before fronts wont be hard. Some guys do the rears themselves then on fronts they take to a shop which at most will be 2 hours to put in keys or spindles

Tony, can you give me an idea of how to lower the rear slightly by modding the auto ride links? I may go to springs in the future but right now I will just be doing sways. The sways you have on the site are about a $100 difference in price, is there a big difference in one or the other over factory? Mine is a 2007 LTZ, sorry to high jack I can't do a pm yet. yes solid and less bends. the djm are 1.5 inches in front which is a nice upgrade.

as for the rear you guys can pull off the rear air lines that go to the bags and see how much the truck sits down. If you need it lower than will have to get lowering springs.
