I want to try to do a simple body drop on my 01 hoe. Is there a good way to do it short of cutting the floor?

well ill keep it short. no! that is if you want more than 2" of body drop.there are a couple of people doing the body mount thing and getting from 1" to 1.5" i think.

Do tell. Did you use the s10 body mounts? Did the ride quality suffer that much?

if you do a body drop please get some kind of bushing in between the metal
I am metal on metal right now and the only thing that bothers me is the squeaking other than that it rides smooth with the added bonus of another inch dropped

I should have been more specific. I was speaking in a generalized theory. I've had a bodydropped truck before, worst thing I ever did. No, it was not hacked, it was done right. The truck lost alot of its driveability and ended up selling the truck.

Pics of said truck (this was circa 2001...)
