hey im vance. im wanting to buy efi live to do my own tuneing on my 97 tahoe. how much is this program and how do i come across of getting one? thinks

EFILive only works with 98+ vehicles, or else we would be able to sell you a package.

so dose that mean that hp is the only one that can work on mine? i wonder if i get a 98 ecu tune it for my built 97 if it will work.

Yes a 98 PCM would work, but you would have to repin the harness.

HPTuner does not tune the 97s either, we use Tuner Cat to tune 96-97s.

thanks for halpping out. what would it take for me to get a program like tuner cat so i can do just my truck? i just built a 5.7l vortec with some good stuff on it and it needs tune bad. my good friend brad holiday has in efi live and we tryed to see if it would logen and it gave him in option for a 97-98.

The TunerCat is not sold anymore, you would have to find one used.

Our tunes for the 97 are $200 and $60 for the core charge.

The 97-98 that your friend was seeing, is for LS1 only.
