Ok need some help. On my 22's (on the inside lip) , I have what appears to be rust and brake dust from the rotors and brakes. Any ideas on how to get this off? Its given the whole inside lip of the front wheels a goldish tent to it and looks like hell. I tried to use simple green with no success. PLEASE HELP

What is the finish on the wheels? I assume chrome? Rubbing alchol maybe or coca cola and aluminum foil. I'm not to good with all the blingtastic stuff though.

If they are chrome you can either use chrome wheel cleaner, I use eagle 1, or never dull wading. The spray chrome cleaner is easiest but its an acid so wear gloves.
If the wheels are polished aluminum then your going to need mothers polish and you will have to buff them out.

Use an aggressive clay to remove whatever is left behind from the liquid cleaners. Clay can be used on any metal surface with success in most cases.

Once you get it cleaned up you can apply Poor Boys Wheel Sealant to keep it from happening again.

A quality sealant will outlast the best "wheel wax" since the sealant will not break down as quickly. Wheel Wax is nice, but there are products that will work better with the high temps brakes will cause.
