Hey guys, havn't posted in awhile, but I need to buy new wheels and tires within the next two weeks. Need some help deciding.

I am questioning 20s or 22s on my 2wd 2dr Hoe, what do you guys think. My hoe is dropped 2/2 i think it was done before i got ahold of it and i can only find the 2 inch hangers in the back. I put 2" drop spindles on and am thinking of dropping it 1 more inch in the front and leveled in the back.

Anyway i like the wide tire look in the back but don't want to have any issues rubbing front or back.
What do you guys suggest wheel size, offsets, tire size, etc? Do you have any pics to post to show what you are running?

Thanks for the help

20's if you like any side wall, 20's and a 285/50/20 tire :)

You know i really like the Boss 338s and almost bought a set, until a little more research revealed the center caps not fitting on the OBS trucks

Thete are 2 versions. I have the new set on my dads silverado 95 and fits fine. Make sure when you order them to get the new version

I dont want to jack your thread but I'm looking for the same info. Not buying wheels in the next few weeks but doing my research early.
My drop is going to be around a 4/6. I'm also a fan of the fat rear tires, would like at least 10"s out back
I'd like 18s but am thinking of 20s. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I'm not sure. I'd like some sidewall but nothing too big, I also dont want any issues with rubbing.
I think regardless I'll need a tune to adjust my speedo. Right?

Thanks man

You'll need a tune if your overall diameter changes more than 3% (forgot where I saw that figure) - width has no effect on speedo reading.

I went with 20 x 8s, I would suggest going for the 20s as tire/wheels combos are getting more and more inexpensive. I like the staggered look too, but after having 7 inch in the front and 10 in the back on my 17s it gets to be a PITA when you cant rotate the tire and get even wear. Eventually you will be buying tires in pairs instead of sets.

hows it going. im new to the website, but i recently lowered my 98 2 door 2wd. i failed to measure the height prior to lowering it but im guessing its a 6/4. djm flip kit and hangers in the rear and 2" dropped spindles and i installed a 1/2 ton truck coild in the front which i cut one complete turn . i have a slight rake in the rear. i managed to fit on some 22"x 9.5" foose legends all the way around. i had to widebody the front fenders about one inch and roll the lip after if carved into my tire on the test drive. in the rear< i also had to roll the pinchweld located in the wheel well.

i have 20's with a 275/45/20 tire on my 2wd tahoe. cheap tires, proportional look, and still pretty practical
