I really don't like posting pics of customers rides I lower unless they shoot me pics which this customer did.
On this yukon (with autoride) front is spindles with belltech springs adjusted for a 1 inch drop and rear belltech shock extenders with belltech rear 4 inch drop springs. I also modify the autoride brakcets in the rear to get the most drop while still keeping the autoride working. On this truck I also installed new front autoride specific shocks. Overall hes very happy with the ride and ill have new pics when he puts his new 24s on.

Yeah thats a clean drop on nasty wheels haha, but not for long.
The drop is the exact same as mine but those 4" BT rear coils are good for more like 4.75" of rear drop.

for autoride id do these. I dont even do the belltech on non autoride trucks anymore. The djm trailblazer springs are way better for going low

Tony -- I did a rear-only Belltech lowering kit on my LTZ a while ago, but I never swapped out the shocks or did shock extenders.
Would you recommend either, both, or that I just leave it as is? Ride is decent, but I could stand to have some of the tight bounce taken out of it.
Thanks.

if you get shorter shocks you will be ok and i do like the street performance ones by belltech.

Thanks for the quick reply! Do you have a part number for the shorter shocks you're talking about? Also, any problems changing them but NOT the front ones? Finally, what improvement to the ride should I get?
Thanks!
First off, I've been lurking and learning much on this forum, since picking up an '08 Yukon Denali.
Tony, thanks for your help on getting the 4/2 drop on the Denali! Got it all completed today, and it drives, and looks fantastic!
(Dylan VonKleist helped us organize it. Adam's Polishes.) Will take photos and post them when we get the truck back from the alignment shop tomorrow.
Just mounted the new 22" Black Rhino Sabi rims and 305-40-22 Cooper Zuni tires. Looks amazing, but I'm having a problem with rubbing in the front. (We cut out a bunch of plastic from the rear, which didn't help the looks.)
Is there a plastic insert that indents enough to provide clearance for these tires? Have also read about having the wheel wells sprayed with Line-X. Here in Boulder, CO, we get some weather, and would it be good to have Magnesium Chloride, snow, and muck inside the wheel wells, especially with the electronics, auto-ride hoses, etc?
This truck is a Christmas gift for my wife, and I'd love to have it sorted ASAP, and get it under the tree by Friday night!
Thanks in advance for any guidance.:help:

adam if you can put a new post up and show pics. we did 2 inch front drop and 4 inch rear drop on yours about.
now what is the offset of the 22s you put on. with a 305 40 22 and a 2/4 drop if the offset is right you shoudl be good to go. in rear if it runs the inner plastic you can cut it and im lowering a tahoe right now and ill be up late so if you want give me a call 415 519 2432 and ill talk to yah on the phone
Thanks for the quick response Tony! I'm not exactly sure of the offset, and will give you a call shortly to describe the rubbing.
