Auto ride compressor

Does anyone know how to disable the autoride compressor but still keep the auto dampening?? I removed the 40 amp compressor relay and it still rides good just wondering if there is a certain way I should be doing this. I deflated the air shocks after my springs settled and the height is good but when it airs up to the minimum pressure that the shocks need it lifts up just a little and it doesent look to good when its driving so im trying to just get rid of the leveling but still keep the dampening feature.

i remove the autoride rear shocks and just use regular shocks and it stil rides fine.

With the rear autoride shocks on min. position it lifts the truck up about a inch correct?

It lifted it up about a half inch, it made it look to raked for me. I want to keep the auto dampening feature thats why I am trying to keep the stock rear shock I just dont need the auto leveling. My truck ride a lot better than my friends truck with the same springs but with belltech street performace shocks. Dont get me wrong his truck rides good just mines still rides better.

in not exactly sure but I know its alittle shorter than it needs to be, because I marked each sensor before I droped the truck and the marks are a little off so the truck thinks its slightly lifted right now. I know the compressor comes on because it needs to maintain a minimum pressure all the time to prevent damage to the bags and thats whats bringing the rear of my truck up a little. That little bit of presure makes a big difference in height depending where I park, if it turns on and im on uneven ground I notice it raises the rear up even more thats why I just want to get rid of the air but keep the auto dampening. So far after removing the 40 amp compressor fuse I havent gotten any lights on my dash and my truck looks much better, the auto dampening still seems to be working too.

2 different fuses. on the ones that need it to say low pull the fuse for the compressor and your fine. the auto dampening is not on the same circuit. usually i bleed all the air out and then pull fuse and hook it back up.

Thats what I ended up doing bleeding out the air from each shock and removing the compressor fuse. I left the fuse out and so far everything has been ok.

yah if you disconnect the sensor thats when all hell breaks loos elol

Ya thats what im trying to avoid is getting all kinds of lights and a harsh ride, thats why I wanted to know if I had removed the right fuse.

you remove the 40 amp compressor fuse just kills that. If you remove the sensor for the ride dampening thats when shit hits the fan.

all good im trying to get people to get on the djm rear drop springs cause its the way to go. Honestly even if you use the belltech 1 inch spacer to get a 4 inch drop i do like the ride vs the belltech rear set up.

I was concidering swaping out to the DJM spring to get it lower, maybe in a month ill be tired of this and want it even lower haha, ill let you know though.

Where is the 40 amp fuse located?
How do I bleed out the air in the shocks?

FUSE is in the engine compartment bu some trucks still get a message on dash others dont.

you bleed the air out ofthe shocks by pulling the clip and pull the airline out of the shock then put it back.

DJM TB 4 inch springs all the way :)

pull the electrical clip on the rear autoride links this works also and you can keep fuse in and it should not have a light on dash.

how low can you get letting the air out?

sorry if I missed it in the thread, but how low can you get letting the air out of the shocks? down 1 inch?

And does the autoride still work?
