I just realized that the rear defog wire had come off from the window. I dont want to super glue it but i dont have a soddering gun.
Just curious what is the best way to fix it.

Thanks in advance!

You can get a rear widow defroster repair kit from the parts store. It is a epoxy with silver or copper mixed in. Super glue will not work because it does not conduct electricity. I did mine 4 months ago and it is still on. Should cost around $10.00

PETEY: Did you get it fixed? If you haven't or for anyone else, try visiting a Windshield Replacement shop. Mos of them have the proper glue that will conduct the electrical current.

No wonder GM is in bankruptcy. I went to the dealer with this problem about 6 mos ago and they replaced the entire rear glass. :emotions122:

Retards. But I am sure that is the S.O.P. The bitch about it is that they made him wait for a week and make another trip to the dealer.

Yea but the money isn't coming from the dealer, if it's under warranty. I thought it somehow trickles back to GM, am I right?
Couple minutes with a soldering iron though I've never seen one of those window repair kits, that may be an easier route.

Both have mine came off within 7 months of each other. The first the dealer/GM tech fixed. The second one they brought in someone from a window repair place who fixed it. Both were under warranty. Wondering if was just a cheap ass factory job or all the constant vibration from having the stereo cranked that causes them to come apart. Some times I think I am going to blow that back window out!
