My carpet needs some help

My hoe is 14 years old. The carpet has seen better days and is in need of a real deep cleaning. Short of removing it and going to town with the pressure washer...what are some of your ideas for deep cleaning carpet.
Product suggestions, techniques, specific equipment, I am totally open.

Definately an option to pull it and replace with new, but that's money that can be spent elsewhere. I'm gonna pull the rear section (easiest to pull) and scrub her down. If she comes out alright, I'll do the front. If not, we're going new.

Got any suggestions on places to source new carpet. I do prefer OEM. Perhaps just going to the dealer is the best option???

No need to remove it, just find a big carwash place that has a "steam cleaning" machine like the do for homes, not just carpet cleaning. Comes out real nice..

try some "tuff stuff". it's in a yellow can.

you can get it at auto parts stores..

spray it on, scrub with a medium stiff brush, then steam clean it up or use a microfiber and wipe it up...

make sure you vaccuum FIRST>

I believe I will be going the removal route. Reason being is that I hope to get some mastic sheets (DynoMat-ish type material) installed in the rear area to reduce road noise. So seeing as I am doing that to mastic sheets, I am gonna look to get the carpet cleaned up. Funny how plans change in an afternoon...

Additionally, that are almost no more DIY car washes in my area. I am in north Jersey and it's all coffee shops, clothing stores, banks and McMansions! :emotions122:

Here's a before and after when I first got my Tahoe. Be careful what product you use. I've used some cheap scotchgaurd stuff before and had to leave my windows down for weeks for the smell to fade...

Nice improvement. My Hoe's carpet is so dirty I doubt it could ever look even halfway ok but I do like the steam cleaning idea. I;m not dropping the time and money on removal and replacement....

What did you use? I have a wine stain on the rear floor board that I cant get rid of. I have tried every home remedy and some other products.

I had a red winne stain in my 09 Uplander with almost the identical carpeting that you have there. Tried everything and I mean everything. Even to the point of pulling it out for a weel to work on it. Last ditch effort by my wife was powdered laundry detergent, hot water and elbow grease.. Voila, no red wine anymore... This was an entire bottle that was lost while on a camping trip..Wine was easily replaced but it was painful...Give it a try..Also a presoak will not hurt..
