hey, i just bought a new tahoe its a 99 2 door. its a button 4x4 and since joining the forum a couple days ago ive done a couple things to the truck ive adjusted the keys up front and installed some 2" drop shackles in the rear and its been so much easier so thanks to everyone for all the help!! really appreciate it!! but i gutted the interior to get it redone but had a question about the a/c. the a/c blows ice cold but it only comes out of the side vents next to the windows and the dash at the defrost vents, it also doesnt matter what setting i have it on whether it be hot or cold it only blows ice cold so the heater doesnt work either and under the hood any metal parts connected to the ac hoses get white and icy as soon as the air comes on. what could be the problem?? how could it get air to blow through the regular panel vents?

check the door, and or make sure someone didn't mod in the dash, removing the vent tubing.

the AC door, or blend door. Directs airflow.
