I'm using 6000K HID's. I'm thinking of buying a 3000K for my fogs. 3000K is yellow.

What do you guys think? I just want more output for the fogs coz it gets really foggy where I live in the winter time.

6000k will reflect back at you in the fogs. I would put 3000k in as that would reflect through.

The 3000K will definately cut through the fog helping you see a little better.

6000K would look nice but I'll go with 3000K for a change.

I purchased some 6000k for my headlights and 3000k for my fog lights from Higher Level Auto but for some reason, after 3 bulb replacements, I couldn't get a pair of bulbs that matched in color, so I asked them to send me a pair of 6000k and I'm glad I did.

Honestly the 3000k only looked like HIDs when you first turned it on after that, it looked like regular H3 bulbs.

Hope this helps!! Good Luck on either choice.

thanks for the suggestion. I'm glad I haven't bought one yet.

The 6000K look better imo, but if your goal is for functionality and to help cut through the fog, the 3000k will work better.
