new tune question

i just installed my new pcm and i had to do the security relearn, from what i've read i'm going to have the crank relearn. but since its been installed my check engine light has not came on and it runs great. did i just get lucky and not going to have to do the crank relearn?

You may not need to do it, but if you ever get random misfire code, it would be advised.
