im interested in ordering a black grill for my 02 yukon(non denali) w/out any kind of emblem...if i ordered without an emblem would there still be a flat spot in the middle of the grill?

depends on what brand you get. some insets have a space for the emblem in the middle some dont. depends if you also want an insert or a full grill. a full grill shouldnt have space for the emblem as the emblem either sticks to the grill or clips into it.

At this time, for the 2000-06 Yukon, non Denali, we have our Black Grill Insert that has a small area for our custom Yukon Logos, black or bright chrome, for $99.00. It looks great and you can't beat the price.
We hope to have the non logo version, just like the 01-06 Denali grill insert we make, in a couple of months. It will be $239.00 in Black, no logo.
