my girlfriend has an 07 denali and i was driving it today and the voltage meter was reading about 1/8" under 14V...
shouldnt these things be at 14volts even?

That does seem a bit high, mine has never got over 15 voltds day or night!

no its riding under 14v... there is no number but seems like it is running low

07s and up very the voltage to save fuel. Completly normal.

Actually the NBS like RT said lets the computer drop the alternator output when not req'd which supposedly provides better mpg. If it does, I'd hate to see what the mpg would be w/ the old style regulators. :emotions122:

Normal. Although the first time I saw it I nearly made a trip to the dealer.
