07 Tahoe LT liftgate issue

Every couple of days the alarm goes off on the DIC as if the liftgate is not closed properly, I checked it each time it was closed properly. Sometimes when I close the liftgate hard it will stop. Any ideas what's the problem.:emotions122:

Do you have the power or standard liftgate? If it's the power, it could be the soft-close mechanism not working or something.

Oops guess I should of mentioned it, it's a standard liftgate

It's probably some simple tweak so a sensor somewhere... the stealership probably would fix it free if it's just a tiny thing. I haven't had a standard liftgate in almot 2 years or else I could help you some more
