Parking light switch always lit up???

Just got the Tahoe and I really havent driven it except when I drove her home. I just did an LED cluster swap and I noticed that my headlight switch is lit up as soon as the car sees ignition (it shuts off when the car does, so no draw). Is that normal?

No, the switch itself. Where the dimmer and dome override are.

Gotcha, I will try and check tonight if I remember and if no one else chimes in. SO the back light in there is always on? Right? just making sure I get it lol

Sorry buddy totally spaced this out. So my back light comes on only when my lights are on. If my e-brake is on or it is light out it is off. I wonder if something got crossed when you did the swap? Is that the only thing lit up all the time?

Always on so you can find the light switch at night in the dark. Wouldn't make much sense to have it lit only when the lights are on because you already found it. Just sayin.

it stays on all the time day or night, lights on or off. Me and other friends have 2 doors and 4 door obs hoe's and yukons. its always on. damn good ? though cuz i wondered the same thing when i got mine,seemed weird but id mind it anymore

also the gear shift mark line stays on when the key is on.
