Does anyone know how to get the glass out of the rear view mirror? The glass in mine broke and I bought the whole assembly off ebay but can't figure out how to get the glass out. BTW It has power mirrors. If anyone could shed some light on this I would appreciate it.

When I hit a mailbox with mine the glass popped right out. Not sure if that is what you were going for but it worked.

BTW I have family in you area (Artesia actually) welcome to the board

So, still no luck and I already broke the new mirror trying to get it out of the assembly. If anyone has any knowledge on this I would appreciate some help.............

most that i have seen, the glass is attached to a submount with adhesive... perhaps a heat gun to soften the glue?
