Purchased my 2009 LTZ 4WD with 6.2L in January - fully loaded. Quite zippy for a large SUV. I have located an AirAid Intake System and a DiabloSport Predator that will work for the 6.2L, but not a Duel-Out Rear Exhaust System. I keep hounding FlowMaster, MagnaFlow and Gibson to make one.

My question is this: Should I wait for the DOR Exhaust System before getting the Air Intake System and Predator?? Also, are there any issues with using the Predator along with an AirAid Intake System ??

Thanks ~

Don't bother with the diablosport. Get your truck tuned by Blackbear worth every cent.

Be sure you are doing these mods for the right reason...

The AirRaid is going to net you about 1-5hp maybe. But it sounds really nice.
The exhaust without headers will net you about 1-5hp maybe. But it sounds really nice.
The Diablo may net you about 20hp. It is not nearly as good as a professional tune but it does offer you the ability to remove and replace or adjust it any time you wish.
Neither the Air Raid or the exhaust will effect the Diablo, but if you go with a professional tune put them on first.

Spend your money wisely grasshopper..

Thanks for the input. I never really expected much HP increase, just a nice throaty sound. The Predator is to get rid of the speed and RPM limiter primarily. I am having difficulty finding a dual-out-rear / side exhaust system. No one makes such an animal for the 2009 6.2L. The gurus at Flowmaster tell me their DOS American Thunder System for the 2007 5.3L will not work. I have a friend in the muffler business who I will see about a custom fabrication using Flowmaster parts. I do like the opinion of adding the exhaust and air intake systems before the tuner.
