I have two headrest tv's in my 'Kon and I want to add a set of RCA's to them. Let me explain a bit more, I found where I can input RCA's but its location is under the center console . I want something more easily accessible...maybe some sort of extention that allows me to have the RCA's located in the 2nd rows cupholder. Hope this makes sense...

Well it sounds like some connectors and female ended cables would get you somewhere.

Are you looking to put preouts somewhere or something?

I'm trying here....lol

So could you run female ended cables or use connectors on one end and run it there?

I think I know how to run the cables, its how to attach the end of the female connectors where I have the problem. I want something that looks factory done and not like a hack job. I want the end of the cables to be accessible from the the 2nd row cup holders. Right where someone seating in the 2nd row would plug in their set of headphones or control the a/c...

So I found the RCA jask that I want to use at www.partsexpress.com (thanks MikeTheApeman) Now, my next question is how do I install them to the center console...so that they are accessible from the 2nd row? I know I can just drill a hole and "Wuala" but how would a pro shop do it...JK any thoughts my friend?

Depending on what you get lots of plugs have some kind of hook on the back that can go into a hole that you drill.

I am going with these:http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=091-1210
I kinda want to do something like what the guy on cardomain.com did, but I want a more factory/neater look... I guess I am just **** but I research for about a month (depending on the mod) before I dive into something. But this is a start

With those, you won't have to make a plate, you can just drill the holes spaced evenly and the hex nut will hold it there. But I'd say think ahead, if you plan on adding other stuff like he did later, go ahead and do a plate, that way all you would have to do is redo the plate and not have existing holes in the console.

Yeah, making a plate is really nothing more than taking something like MDF or even some plastic and drilling into that. Cut it to fit the spot where you're mounting, walla! You're all set.

Wrench, you don't like PE? Granted, their prices on some things can be a little jacked, but I like the one-stop-shop they have going on.
