mike, were they plug and play or did you have to splice the wires? i'm not completely sure about them being polar-sensitive, but is it possible you have the polarity backwards? just a thought there, not even sure if that's a possibility or not.

and do they have a dedicated ground on them? if you didn't ground it it may not go.

ive install alot of kits...thats a definite possibilty...also turn the factory plug the wrong way when u plug it in the ballast...it looks wrong but its not lol. My old 92 truck and my yukon both worked with the plug backwards

even tho most have the 'proper' plug and play, some are built reversed. try reversing the plug.

riviera rider,
i Had the same issue when i installed mine. reversing the plugs/wires fixed teh issue. HIDs are like LEDS. they have polarity and negative/positive placement affects their performance. Reverse them and it should work.

I think the ideas here will work...I hope. I ordered mine and they should be here today. If I come into the same issues, I'll let you know.

Nice. I'm gonna do the same thing with the DRL fuse. When I bought my Tahoe at night I couldn't believe how crappy the lights were...lol. I have HIDs in all my other vehicles, so HIDS in this was a no brainer.
Glad you like em
