I sanded everything with 220, then cleaned and shot 3 coats of primer, then sanded the primer, cleaned and then applied 4 coats of satin black, then 3 coats of satin clear, will slowly get all plastic in the hoe painted, I know the power outlet isn't painted, the console we are building out of fiberglass will cover that. I also know I missed some spots...

Lookin good so far dude! cant wait to see it done. Makes me wanna go get some paint. just dont know what color I would too without making it too tacky looking

Looks awesome, I would love to black out my interior but I don't think I have the balls to go through with it. That's a sweet ride parked in the driveway btw :p

yea that looks good! ive been thinking of doing it for so long but never havent found any good paint. what kinda paint did you use? i seen some krylon in the background in one of your pics, is what what you used? i wanna see some close up pics of the dash can u take some. did you get any drips showing?? i would hate to have drips on my dash if i was to paint it!

I used Krylon fusion for plastics(primer, paint and clear) No runs but I know how to paint, also there is a lot of prep work, I spent about 7 hours doing just my dash.

I heard clearing the Dash is a NO NO bc of light reflection...hows driving during the day?

+1 try a satin finish

I used a satin clear. No glare cause it is a flat paint job.

No, just sucks to put it back in and scratch up the paint re-installing it.
