3/5 drop

alright i ordered my new wheels today...black boss 338. I am currently riding 2/4.spindles front and drop leafs back.. is there anyway to go another inch without a flip kip or some serious changes. ill put springs in the front but im in the air about what i could do for the back. if a flip kit is the only answer...with riding five inches require me to notch the frame or will it be enough travel. help me out please.

u dont have 2 c-notch it but its gunna ride like shit
so its best to notch it and get some good shocks and u will be fine

you can ad a shackle to the rear or hangers. the drop leaf springs arnt the best in the world as too ride comfort as you probably notice

o yea i noticed lol. i have helper bags and i have written in tahoe without helper bags and it is a big improvement but not as nice as flip kit lol. as far as that filler neck on the passenger side...you think a 1" drop shackle will be mess with it

I know it wont on a 4 door, not super sure on a 2door.

i checked today and i clear exactly an inch 1" 1/4 to the filler neck. very tempting..i may try it sunday and ill let you know if it works...i hear theres a way to pick that filler neck up..

i have some old shackles laying aroudn if ya want em. beats me, it wouldnt hurt to try

i appreciate the offer man..my buddy has some 1" drops shackles he threw a fit over cuz he thought they were 2" so hes itching to get rid of them lol. thanks anyways. by the way...limited wheels look pretty good powder coated man.

haha no problem. i have a brand new shackle and hanger kit im putting on this week, so i was gunna get rid of them. Thanks for the compliment! i have a couple center caps painted, but im diggin the no cap look.

haha well i ordered black boss 338 20s yesterday morning so hopefully ill be happy with the turnout. im very worried about how its going to look..ive never gone with black wheels lol.

black with chrome lip and chrome center hub cover i went ahead and got chrome lugs to to try and make the spokes look a little more distinct

go to the exterior section and look at the thread(update). that it with the rear drop 5 i just have to drop the front 1 more inch.

ill post pics of my two door tom. right now its 5 in the back(4inch leafs, helper bags, 1inch drop shackles). front is spindles and will be 1inch eibach coil springs tom night...ill post pics when im done

Flip is the way to go. It also gives you the option to go lower if you want to in the future. Even with a flip, its good to have helpers.

o i def. agree just want the pain in the ass of flipping it and those helper bags help out alot as far as that infamous bouncy ride from drop leafs. 3/5 should be low enough for me...ima leave it at should be though lol
