View Full Version : Factory NAV/CD/DVD player question...

The factory unit on a 2008 LTZ is making noises like a CD is running in the player all the time, even when the vehicle is parked and key out of the vehicle. Is this normal??

is there a cd in it and it could be the little prongs that since that u r putting a cd in are stuck up try putting a cd in and out a few times see if that fixes it

no... no CD/DVD in the player.

Yes, its 'normal' it's reading the Navigation DVD that's behind the screen.

It's stupid and runs down the battery, but if you ever need to access the maps while the key is out and the screen is off... GM has you covered...

I thought the 2010 one was going to be HDD based, but nope...

it is normal.
