View Full Version : Antenna Broke, Any suggestions?

Well I noticed my antenna was looking a little crooked the other day, so I tried bending it back into alignment, and it snaps:emotions122: lol. Should I get the same kind, or is there better/cooler ones you can buy?

autozone has several regular length ones and even some shorter stubby ones - junkyard should have tons of them

If you don't use the radio, you can cut the antenna off the mount and just screw the mounting piece back on. Otherwise, a stubby antenna would work.

I'm one that still listens to the radio, so the factory length is the best setup for me. :D

Lol I'd really like to do that! I remember I asked you when I first joined up on here. I just dont think Ill be able to pull it off alone =(.

I ordered a billet one. There are a lot to choose from. But, eventually I will shave it. Also, someone stole the first billet one I had so make sure its screwed down good and tight.

for some reason i get no reception with my antenea on, so i just removed it until i take the time to go get a stubby i didnt like that tall ass antenea

blackcoffee, you got a stubby fm antenna, but wanna put 2 - 9 foot cb antennas on your truck? lol. just seemed ironic, not trying to stir the pot. :)
