For the ones I bought off ebay (shipped from Hong Kong)...
I had to bend the prongs on the front and rear lamp assemblies to seat the light. In the center lamp (RSE), I had to carefully notch each side of the PC board for them to seat correctly. A serrated knife created each notch, then an Xacto knife widened and shaped it.

Mine wouldn't work right at first, they either flicked dimly or wouldn't turn on at all...but they did fit. They now all work fine, except one in the 3rd row won't do anything at all.

I had the same issue - oddly enough, reversing them fired them up again.

Reversing mine didn't help.

Hassoun, I can't give you my link. It looks white in the pic but they're actually purple-white. I'm not a fan of it.

I have bought many leds off eBay, and yes they look cheapish, but there is not much to an LED light. Something to keep in mind is the LED's have a poss side and and neg side. So if it will not work, pull the bulb out and switch it around. If that does not work you probably have a bad bulb.

Mine are white with a slight blueish tinge. OEM was very yellowish.
Search ebay for: 44mm 3175 Interior Festoon 12 SMD LED

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220461017185&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT

If you look at the pic on the link, the 'notching' has to be done on each side of the metal ferrule as the prongs are angled and won't play...

I just changed my lights out this weekend. I like them, but think they are a little too blue/purple and less functional than the OEM. A whiter color would make the lights more functional.

Spend a couple more bucks and get them from V-LEDS. Twice the quality of the E-bay bulbs. Mine are white, not purple, but they have those too if that's the look you're after.

LEDs unlike regular bulbs are voltage specific.

LEDs need a + and the - connected correctly.

so flipping them, your flipping the connection, which is why it works 1 way and not the other.
