Anyone removed the dashboard on tahoe?

Thinking of pulling complete dash to sand and paint. Any help would be appreciated.

your in for a trip, to much work , it will prob get scratched or cracks in paint when putting back in. i had to replace some wires and my heating duct, was not fun, the dash still wont fit right. if u do make sure u have every bolt and screw out...and there are tons. good luck

Do you mean the Dashboard Face? Or the ENTIRE Unit? If its just the face, its REALLY easy ha.

yea i have, we did a heater core on a 96 yukon once. its horrible work, god awful.

If you want it to come out right take it out. I would not recommend doing it inside. Someone put it in so it can be taken out. You just have to be patient take pictures.
