Where can I pick up a new lower door hinge? I'm in Germany and the nearest dealer is 3 hours away. My door makes a horrible racket everytime you open it fully because the damn wheel/roller bearing thing is not rolling with the door.

The hinges are actually "glued" on. There are bolts aswell, but swapping the hinge isn't easy. The alignment to the door is almost never back to the way it was and closing it will be weird

I'll get a pic in a few, when it warms up a little. From what I could tell just by looking at it quickly, is that there are 6 bolts holding it on and the wheel is not an changable part (the entire hinge needs to be swapped. It is very lubed. I put tones of WD40 on it.
So as you can see what I've circled in the pic, with the door fully opened the wheel does not roll with the door as it's supposed to. This is causing a disgusting noise and the door grinds against it. It doesn't appear as though you can just replace the wheel, hence why I think I need to remove/replace the entire hinge.

Mine did this exact same thing. I sprayed white lithium grease on it and it still did it. So I went to the dealer and of course my extended "it covers everything warranty" did not cover it so I waid fugg it and waited. As soon as it got a bit warmer I think that the grease had a chance to work in there and the wheel is rolling like new again.
I would try to get a hold of it (the wheel)with a pair of needle nose channel locks and turn it manually while spraying wd40. As soon as it frees up spray a grease in there, it has more "sticking power".

Yeah I thought about trying to manually turn it with some needle nose pliers, but the spring pressure seems like it might be a huge PITA to do. I have some white lithium spray too...I'll probably give it a shot seeing as how I don't have much of a choice.

If you want to fix it get some grease called "3 in one". Your roller has gotten stuck / rusted so its not spinning at all. It makes a NASTY sound too! Grease that baby up and work the door open and closed. It will be as good as new!
Please read the first post. I know what's wrong with the door, I just can't get it unstuck.

Use WD40 on it until it gets "unstuck" and then pack that thing with grease and it should fix it.

I had the same problem last month on my 08 Tahoe and the dealer fixed it under warranty.....Took them a few hours and they've been perfect since. I figured this was a common problem since as soon as I brought it up there wasn't even a bit of hassle they just ordered the hinges and made the appt.
Fixed yet? I did take mine to the dealer and like I said, it was not covered by extended warr. They did not say anything about the hinges being glued on. As a matter of fact made a point to say that he was happy that they are just bolted on as opposed to some of the older ones where they were welded on and had to be cut off.
Haven't had time to get in there with some needle-nose. I really hope that works as I cannot for the life of me find the part number for the entire hinge.

Having the same "clunk" opening and closing the driver's door on my 07 Yuk XL Denali. I too sprayed whith lith grease (this summer and again this week). The clunk is still there, but it didn't start until the extreme cold this past week. I'm guessing it is mainly due to the cold temps and snow ice that was on the door, adding weight (no longer there). I will try a more liquid grease, today to see if that helps.
