So I had enough of literally melting fuses in my amp power wire, I ordered 30 ft of 0 gauge wire to re-wire it and do a big 3 upgrade...trouble is NO one carries 0 gauge ring terminals around here, and if they do they $15 for two. Looks like Im gonna be making my terminals. I will post some pics!

Go to a welding equipment store, I'm sure they have them for 0 gauge. Quite possibly, they might even have them for 4/0!

Couldnt find terminals so I made them. 1/2 inch copper pipe seemed to do the trick

and after doing all this I would tell everyone who plans on doing this to go with 4 gauge..0 gauge is just wayyyy to hard to work with, especially when its cold out. Hope this helps.

The alternator is new but its suppose to be oe from advanced autoparts..its a 120 amp (I think)

The battery ground on the engine is on the passenger side behind the harmonic balancer, next to the crank position sensor. You can see it and access it from below or above. It has a few other wires grounded on it as well.

I learned that if its cold outside the wire is a real bear to work with, I also learned that if you heat it up ( ceramic heater) its 10x easier..Good luck and post pics when your done!
