I just bought a 1999 Tahoe and the Radio has an AUX button. What type of input is back?

I am hoping to put an ipod feed in via that.

Also the CD player does not seem to work is this common. And can you get just the CD part to swap out?

Thanks everyone!

I dont remeber about the aux button but if the cd player is under the heater controls then yes you could just swap out the cd player part.

if i remember correctly, the "AUX" button is also the tape direction change button, and the manual says that if you switch the deck in AUX mode the reels stop turning when playing, but the play head is still engaged, ya know for use with CD cassette adapters from back in the day.
the problem is i forget how you switch it to AUX mode. i'll have to look at the manual when i get in my truck.
