    Yeah. Checked all 4 corners. Fluid level was good as well. The brake pedal is not like a limp noodle…still a tiny bit of pressure on the way down.

    Afternoon all, I have an 03 Yukon Denali (Hydroboost) and last night I had to hit the brakes hard. When I got home the brake pedal went to the floor accompanied by the service brake system and service stability system messages. No fluid leaking. Any ideas where to start?

    Yeah. I don’t have any problems rebuilding the one I have. Just wondering if there was something better to use. I just want mild performance and i never tow anything anyhow. Will definitely put all the “must haves” in when I do it!

    Do you have any ideas as to why they made the OD of the bore different in position 1/5? The journals of the cam are always the same are they not? Why the need to make the bearing thicker or thinner depending on the location? Seems silly to me but I’m by no means an expert on the situation.

    Thanks!! Yeah I have the first design. The oiling holes are the smaller holes. The 2nd design have larger ones. Just getting ready to knock the old ones out and clean those journals. The rest of the block is ready for assembly. Just have to chase the head bolt threads.

    Does anyone know when the split between 2003 and 2004 blocks happened? I understand that the journal sizes are different between the two years? My LQ4 is a 2003 with a casting of G13 on the front passenger side. Do these digits correlate to anything? In a nutshell I’m asking which cam bearings...

    I wanted to do a rebuild due to the high mileage. It started a top end tick and using a little oil. Putting a BTR trucknorris cam, springs, lifters, trays, pushrods. So I figured I’d do it all.

    Yes. Everything was kept in ziplock bags in order. I guess I’m not sure why I need bearings. No issues with oil pressure or anything like that before I took it apart. Zero signs of abnormal wear on the bearings and crank

    Yeah. I’m taking the necessary items to the machine shop to get the journals measured and all that stuff. So I’ll definitely be getting all the info I need.

    Ok thanks!! Yeah I don’t like sketchy so I’ll probably just step it up a little . Maybe I’ll get really lucky and I won’t have to at all. Be nice to not have to spring for new pistons but I’ll most likely have to.
