I currently am driving a 21 Tahoe Z71 (90k miles) pictured below. Have some money in it with the wrap but am being offered a nice amount for it. Was thinking about getting a Yukon Denali Ultimate. But I can’t decide. Drive my Tahoe longer while the value goes down or get the brand new 24 Ultimate?

I am completely aware that these are first world problems but am interested in your opinions. Thank you!

It’s up to you. I thought about trading my ‘21 in for a ‘24 but the problem I’m struggling with is it’s basically the same thing unless I wait for the ‘25 refresh.

Course going from a Tahoe to a Yukon would feel a lot different and nicer (but in the end it’s still the same dated platform now from ‘21).

I do like the wrap yours. Guessing that helps to not show the dust a little on the black? It does look cool.

I have an Ultimate and just love it and it would be a nice step up from the Tahoe IMO, if you can get good money for the Tahoe now I would take it as it will only get less valuable as time and driving goes on,

With 90k I would seriously consider trading it. Obviously you drive a lot so trade it in before your mileage goes over 100k and the trade in value drops even more.

If you want to spend the money for an ultimate have you considered the Escalade? It might have better long term resale value plus the added features they have on them. What ever you choose its late enough in the year that a 2025 would be a wise decision. When I can I'm going to order one for myself, Yukon AT4 6.2

If your getting a good deal for your current one I’d probably trade it and get the ultimate. Used car values are on the decline for sure, high interest rates are really hurting the auto market.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. The value is only going to drop and drop significantly once I go past 100K miles.

I would buy new. But you must VERIFY any new GM vehicle has Apple CarPlay. Some do, some don't. It can be difficult to sell a vehicle without Apple CarPlay. Look, the world would be a boring place if we all liked the same things, but I positively hate that black mat paint job. I hate it so much, I would have the vehicle towed to the dealership for trade-in purposes because I wouldn't want anyone to see me driving it. :)

Hahaha, yes the matte black is not for everyone. Its not a paint job, its a wrap just fyi. Most people dig it but its for sure not everyone's cup of tea.
