    Got awful smell inside Tahoe

Why not? It's just vapor, it's not like I soaked it in gasoline. Actually, it's not even gas "vapor". It's just the residual smell. If I Actually had true gasoline "vapor" in my truck, I would not have been able to even breath. If it was truly gas vapor, then it was EXTREMELY diluted. Like...

    Got awful smell inside Tahoe

Once you do find the source, I'll tell you something that might be able to help get rid of the smell. Plain Ole charcoal briquettes. Just open a large flat cardboard box or plastic tote or whatever, and dump a whole 16lb bag of charcoal in it and let that just sit in your truck for a week or...

03 Tahoe vs 05 Tahoe Gauge Cluster Interchangeability

I've heard from multiple sources that although the clusters are the same, the software is different. So to use a 03 cluster on an 05, it needs to be reflashed or programmed. Supposedly 03-04 are 100% direct swap, EVERYTHING is the same. And 05-06 is a direct swap. But if using a 05-06 cluster...

    ABS module repair

The process to "rebuild" the ABS Module is usually just resoldering all the solder joints on the relays and the coils on the circuit board. I repaired my module like this about 3-4 years ago and it's been working fine ever since. I have not had a single ABS light on ever since. I took a ton of...

05 Yukon Denail Got Broken Into

This is why I deleted my keyholes on the front passenger door and the drivers door. I swapped the door handles with rear door handles, and removed the lock cylinder and lock rod. The only drawback is that I'm SOL if my battery goes dead. And that actually DID happen to me. Had to use a door...

    2002 Yukon Denali hvac module

Your best bet is to search the junkyard, or buy a Dorman unit from Rockauto or something. Keep in mind, that you don't HAVE to get the AC board from another Denali. Some of the higher LT trim Tahoes and Suburbans had that same Automatic AC control panel, as did the Yukons. Since you have a...

07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

Also, since I'm the one who started this thread, I guess I should give somewhat of an update. I did this brake upgrade in February of 2017 on my 2001 Suburban, which is my daily driver. It's now seven years later, and I'm about due for new brake pads and rotors. I don't know the exact mileage...

07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

To answer your question, YES. The GMT900 brake upgrade on a 00-06 will fit fine with 17" wheels. I did the swap on my 2001, and I have 17" wheels on my truck. Just be aware that if you don't get a 17" spare as well, then you will have to be aware of this if you get a flat tire on a front wheel...

    rear main seal replacement

I was going to say oil pan gasket, because the oil pan needs to be lowered to get that rear engine cover off. But then I saw that you had the oil pump replaced about 10-15k miles ago. You may be able to re-use that oil pan gasket, but I personally wouldn't because they are not very expensive...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

My Father in Law did the same thing, not once, not twice, but THREE times! He has a rock/gravel driveway and he had the discharge chute on the mower pointed towards the house. The driveway is a good 20-25 feet from the house, but thats still close enough to shatter a window twice, and most...

    Door lock actuator

GMT800 SUV's were sold up until 2003 with the barn doors as an option, OR the lift gate. I've heard some people mention that they have seen it on a few 2004 models, but as far as I know it stopped in 2003, and all 04-06 models came with liftgates.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Dang, I need one of those for my truck! Maybe I missed it, but did you post a link to where you purchased this from? Or did you 3D print it yourself?

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Fought with the rear hatch handle this weekend. Looks like I'm going to have to replace it. Every so often, it will NOT unlock, and I can't get the hatch to open. The window pop button will not work either. I managed to get the interior panel off to access the laych assembly, and it seems like...
