    Missing tire pressure decal

Not trying to start a pissing match. But, because you asked: "now why....... would a tire manufacture say max 44 and have that psi make the tire wear incorrectly?" One reason is this; when techs are trained on mounting tires, they used to be told (don't know about current practices, as I...

    Missing tire pressure decal

Thanks for posting a pic of the tag for a 2012 model XL Denali. Would still like to see numbers from a 2004 model. I realize they may be the same. But, they may not, as the 2012 has 20 inch wheels, where my original factory wheels are 17s. I could look at the sticker on my son's 2007 two...

    Missing tire pressure decal

The only thing on the sidewall is the max allowable. I want the recommended cold pressure as it is on the sticker. I don't want to order a new sticker. Surely someone on this site has a similar vehicle. Just need the numbers.

    Missing tire pressure decal

I have a 2004 Yukon XL Denali 1500. 6.0, all wheel drive, 17 inch wheels. Had some body work done on it many years ago. The tire pressure decal is missing. The owners manual is no help. Just says to air up the tires according to the decal. Duh. If someone would be kind enough to post the...

    04 Denali, another TPMS Question

Lots of discussion on here. Tried programming TPMS via the owner's manual. I suspect all are original to the vehicle. I have had to do a lot of deferred maintenance on the vehicle since purchasing a year ago. Saw several threads indicating that one should ONLY use the AC Delco sensors...

    Tpms tool

I am not against purchasing a tool. But, I believe if the batteries in the senders are bad, I will need to replace them. Am I right?

    Tpms tool

04 Yukon XL Denali. Tried the above procedure. Got two honks after cycling the headlight switch four times. Let air out of left front for 10-12 seconds. Waited for a single honk, but it never happened. Does this mean I need new sensors? I doubt they have ever been changed. Bought it...

04 Yukon XL Denali: Replacing "ride control" compressor

Looking on RockAuto, they show the Arnott reman rears as PN AS2708. I shopped around a bit and found them cheaper at Summit with free shipping. Same part number. But, on Summit, when I use the "make sure it fits" button is says it does not fit. They clearly have the self adjusting feature as...

04 Yukon XL Denali: Replacing "ride control" compressor

Also found these: Looks too good to be true at less than $100 a pair shipped. Any personal experience? https://www.ebay.com/itm/282950043891 NEVER MIND. Just saw that these are passive.

04 Yukon XL Denali: Replacing "ride control" compressor

Installed the compressor this morning. Started the vehicle and it ran for a few seconds, then shut off, which is what it should do. Service Ride Control message is gone for now, but I really expect the rear shocks are leaking at least SOME, as they look original to the vehicle. Will wait and...

04 Yukon XL Denali: Replacing "ride control" compressor

Thanks a million. Yes, the system was already NOT working when I bought this vehicle. Already accepted the fact that the rear shocks may be leaking, and am prepared to replace.
